Prior to having my son I was a retail manager and knew I wanted to leave the retail world because of the long hours I was working, missing out on holidays with family, and not being able to enjoy time at home.
Once I had my son, my drive to want to leave retail even became even stronger because I realized I didn’t want to miss out on time with him and I didn’t trust anyone to take care of him either!
